About Ajax
Ajax is a thriving town in Durham Region, part of the Greater Toronto Area, with a population of approximately 126,000 residents. Located along the shores of Lake Ontario, Ajax is situated between Pickering to the west and Whitby to the east, about 25 kilometers east of Toronto. The town is named after the HMS Ajax, a Royal Navy cruiser that served during World War II.
