Bracebridge is a charming town in the heart of Muskoka, Ontario's premier cottage country region, with a population of approximately 17,000 residents. Known as the "Heart of Muskoka," Bracebridge sits along the scenic Muskoka River and is surrounded by beautiful lakes and forests. The town serves as a popular year-round destination for outdoor recreation, tourism, and cottage living.

The town features the iconic Bracebridge Falls, a picturesque waterfall in the center of town that cascades down a series of rocky drops. Bracebridge's historic downtown offers boutique shopping, restaurants, and galleries housed in well-preserved heritage buildings. The town is famous for its annual Santa Claus Parade and is home to attractions including the Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre and various art galleries showcasing local artists.

Highway 11 runs through Bracebridge, providing the main north-south route through Muskoka and connecting to Toronto approximately 175 km to the south. Highway 118 branches east from the town toward Algonquin Provincial Park. The Muskoka River flows through the center of town, creating the scenic falls and rapids that define Bracebridge's character.
