Whitby is a town in Durham Region, part of the Greater Toronto Area, with a population of approximately 138,000 residents. Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, Whitby is positioned between Oshawa to the east and Ajax to the west, about 50 kilometers east of downtown Toronto.
